It is a given fact that most of us want to listen to audio, let it be music or whatever, in a continuous manner. However, there comes a time when we are so not able to do so. One of the reasons for not being able to do that is based on the fact that earbuds don’t stay in the ear. Therefore, this article is all about how to get earbuds to stay in.
How to Get Earbuds to Stay in?
Let’s discuss each and every problem with solution separately.
Problem 1: Fitting of the earbuds is not good for your ear
It is observed that people complain about earbuds don’t stay in the ear when any of the following are missing.
- Fitting of earbuds is bad as in they are close to the ear canal.
- Normally canal of the ear is about 2.5 cm in length and 0.7 cm in diameter. Which means you have to either check on the measurements or try them on for a minute or two. That will allow you to know whether the earbuds are meant for you or not.
- If ear canals are bigger than the average size, you would most likely have issues in setting it in. That clearly means that the earbuds will fall out easily.
- However, if the ear canals are smaller than the average size, earbuds will not fit in properly and will remain loose. Eventually, they will pop out.
Solution: Know your size and try the earbuds before buying.
Problem 2: Earwax could slip the earbud out.
It is noticed that at times earbuds fall out with pain and earwax. It is a clear indication that your ear canal is filled with wax and needs cleaning. Also, in such cases, it is best to take cotton swabs, roll it around a pin and clean the edges of earbuds. In addition to it, doctors recommend to not use such earbuds which are packed with wax. Individuals with ear wax are not supposed to use Q-tips though. Reason being, they are pushed back and causes more chances of dropping out the earbuds.
Solution: To let the earbud stay in, clean the wax around the earbuds and ear canals.
Problem 3: Closeness of jaws with ears.
You know what!! The moment you feel that the earbuds are falling out every time you open your mouth, it is a time to get another earbud. However, if you cannot buy any other earbud, then it is better to avoid the use. Reason being, they are not right for your health as they are too close to the jaws. Also, shoving them inside will only bring pain and injuries to the ear.
If all the above solutions doesn’t work for you, get another pair of earbuds which roll inside the ear and doesn’t fall out quickly.
